To enter a query into Manufacturer, just type a few descriptive words ,choose search type of "Suppliers" or "Buyers" and press the 'enter' key (or click on the Manufacturer Search button) for a list of relevant products, companies or trade leads list including the page link. Since Manufacturer only returns web pages that contain all the words in your query, refining or narrowing your search as simple as adding more words to the search terms you have already entered. Your new query will return in a smaller subset of the pages that Manufacturer found for your original "too-broad" query.

Choosing Keywords

For the best results, it is important to choose your keywords wisely. Keep these tips in mind:

· Try the obvious first. If you are looking for information about slipper, enter "slipper" rather than "shoe".

· Use words likely to appear on a site with the information you want. "high speed and advanced technology laptop" gets better results than "modern, fast, portable computer".

· Make keywords as specific as possible. "60X60 garbage bag" gets more relevant results than "small plastic bags for garbage".

Automatic "and" Queries

By default, Manufacturer only returns pages that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Remember that the order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results. To restrict a further search , just add more terms. For example, to find an industry supplier simply type:

· Manufacturer searches are NOT demanding case All letters, regardless of (no matter )how you type them, will be understood as a lower case. For example, searches for "Polo T-shirts ", "POLO T-shirts ", and "PoLo T-Shirts " will all return with the same results.

· If a common word is essential for getting the results you want, you can include it by putting a "+" sign in front of it. (Be sure NO space before the "+" sign.)

· Another method for doing this is conducting a phrase search, which simply means putting quotation marks around 2 or more words. Common words in a phrase search (e.g.,  "Portable DVD Player") are included in the search.

· For example, to search for Windows 2000, type:
